This is a wonderful, slightly sweet, filling side dish! It goes fantastically with chicken, and packs a great flavor into any meal. It’s also a great way to get more color on the plate.

I started the diet on Tuesday, the 28th; starting phase 1/2 as directed by my dietitian. However, since starting, I have felt horrendously ill. I’m not sure why exactly that is, and there are many potential reasons…

With my appointment fast approaching to get my LEAP results, Dan and I decided to make some “guesses” as to which foods will be “no good!” It will be really interesting to see which of these predictions end up coming true!
My February appointment with the dietitian was quite productive. The low FODMAP diet didn’t work, so we are now switching things up! It’s going to be a monumental task, but it should help dramatically.
This was likely my last full week on the low FODMAP diet, as I see the dietitian again on February 7th. Sadly, the diet hasn’t really helped my symptoms. See more details and my Week 5 food log here!
